Andrew Cryer was destined for a career in real estate, watching both of his parents succeed in the Denver real estate market with The Kentwood Company. Being that Andrew grew up ski racing with Ski & Snowboard Club Vail, the Vail Valley seemed the perfect fit for Andrew to settle after graduating from the University of Denver. Andrew’s degree, a BSBA in Hotel/Restaurant Management, aids him well in real estate with a strong background in customer service. Andrew appreciates the sense of community and entrepreneurial roots that make life in the Vail Valley so special.
Andrew got his start in real estate working for Slifer Smith & Frampton exceling in timeshare sales in the Beaver Creek Village. During the 2015/16 ski season, Andrew was involved with 46 timeshare transactions. Beyond Beaver Creek, Andrew has been active in markets from East Vail to Gypsum and has sold various types of properties from condominiums to riverfront acreage.
Andrew spent a large portion of his university years in Latin and South America, honing his Spanish Language skills. Such skill nicely compliments his ability to target the Vail Valley’s large international population. Andrew lives in Avon with his wife, Grace, and is passionate about skiing, running, fly fishing, and back-packing. Andrew also volunteers his time with Vail Valley YoungLife at the local high schools.
We interviewed several brokers and it was Andrew's professionalism, knowledge, and work ethic that made it an easy decision. Once the interview was over he sent sent us a few emails each day with comparable listings as we really struggled with our listing price point and we hadn't hired him yet! He worked hard for us selling our small town-home even though he had many clients with multi-million dollar homes. As a seller, Andrew Cryer made a great representative and we will definitely use him again.
— Bailey, Avon Seller
Andrew did a great job managing the full scope of our listing, with terrific suggestions in prepping the property for marketing and showing, to holding frequent open houses and, eventually, providing sound advice throughout the transaction negotiation. He brought a helpful balanced and objective approach but never lost sight of who his client was. Don't let the youthful appearance fool you, he's got what it takes to do a great job.
